Getting the right fit is particularly important for my wider rings, as their substantial bands can be difficult to resize.Please watch my ring sizing video for guidance on measuring your finger.If you're unsure of your size, you can order a MULTISIZER for £3.50, including UK postage. This amount will be deducted from a later ring purchase.My rings are sized to take account of their individual designs and proportions, so there's no need to adjust your measurement to allow for a wider band.Once we've established your size, I can begin making your ring, taking care to achieve the best possible fit.

My Cholla cuff bangles are available in six sizes, with the corresponding wrist measurements shown on each product page.Please watch my sizing video, which demonstrates how to measure your wrist accurately and how to put on and remove a close-fitting cuff bangle using the correct technique, without unnecessarily widening the opening.Cholla bangles are oval in shape and designed to sit comfortably and securely against the wrist. Although the opening can be adjusted slightly, choosing a smaller size and widening it excessively may compromise the fit and security of the bangle, increasing the risk of it slipping off.Before your bangle goes into production, I'll ask you to send a photograph showing a flexible measuring tape around your wrist, with the measurement clearly visible. This allows me to check your measurement and confirm the most suitable size.As Cholla bangles cannot be resized to a different size, choosing the correct size from the outset is particularly important.

My jewellery combines traditional craftsmanship with modern design and production techniques.Every piece begins with an original design. My Cholla pendants were originally made by hand from sheet silver, with each intricate cut-out carefully pierced and finished before a mould was taken.The rings and bangles are developed using computer-aided design (CAD), allowing me to create complex, sculptural forms with precision. Making these designs entirely by traditional methods would involve cutting away considerable amounts of silver to achieve their intricate shapes. Lost-wax casting allows me to produce each piece much closer to its finished form, reducing the amount of material that needs to be removed.The designs are professionally cast in solid sterling silver using the ancient technique of lost-wax casting. The pendants are reproduced from wax patterns made using moulds of my original handmade pieces, while the rings and bangles are cast from 3D-printed patterns.Once cast, each piece is carefully finished and polished by hand in my workshop.This combination of traditional craftsmanship and modern technology allows me to create distinctive, sculptural jewellery with the substance and durability of solid sterling silver, designed to be worn and enjoyed for many years.

My Cholla rings and cuff bangles are carefully scaled in three dimensions as their size increases. The width, thickness and overall proportions are adjusted incrementally, ensuring that each piece retains its distinctive sculptural character, whether it's the smallest or largest size.This means that larger sizes contain progressively more sterling silver, which is reflected in their price.Rather than simply increasing the circumference, each size is individually proportioned to maintain the same visual balance and substantial feel throughout the collection.As the market price of silver fluctuates, my jewellery prices may also be reviewed from time to time to reflect changes in material costs.

Each piece of Marianne Harwood jewellery is carefully prepared before it makes its way to you. Delivery times vary depending on the design.Cholla RingsIt is impossible to keep all ring sizes (and half sizes) in stock, and consequently, these are made to order in your chosen size. Each ring is individually cast in sterling silver, then carefully finished and polished by hand before being sent to the London Assay Office for hallmarking. This process takes approximately 4 - 6 weeks. Cholla Cuff BanglesMy Cholla cuff bangles are also made to order and production begins once we've confirmed your wrist measurement and chosen size. Their sculptural design, intricate cut-outs and substantial silver content make them particularly involved pieces to produce. Each bangle is cast, carefully finished by hand and independently hallmarked before dispatch. This process takes approximately 6 to 8 weeks at present.Cholla Pendants Cholla pendants are generally held in stock and, when available, will be dispatched within three working days of receiving your order.If you're purchasing jewellery for a particular occasion with a specific deadline, please get in touch before ordering to discuss the timescales.

Responsible sourcing and thoughtful use of materials are important to me.All my jewellery is cast in recycled solid sterling silver. My Cholla bangles have a particularly special connection: they are made using AgAIN Silver, recovered from old medical X-ray films collected from hospitals, including those in the NHS. This innovative recycling scheme gives valuable silver a new life while also benefiting participating hospitals.I also take care with my packaging, choosing FSC-certified paper and cardboard wherever possible. Protective inserts and soft pouches are used to keep your jewellery safe during storage and delivery.My aim is to make considered choices wherever I can, creating jewellery designed to be worn and enjoyed for many years.

Yes. Every piece of Marianne Harwood jewellery is independently tested and hallmarked by the London Assay Office, including smaller pieces that fall below the legal requirement of 7.78 grams for silver because I believe every piece deserves this assurance, regardless of its size or weight.A hallmark is your independent assurance of the precious metal content of your jewellery. It also identifies the Assay Office responsible for testing and the maker or business that submitted the piece.Understanding my hallmark​MH: My sponsor's mark: My registered sponsor's mark, identifying me as the person responsible for submitting the jewellery for hallmarking and linking the jewellery to me.The lion passant: The traditional British symbol for sterling silver.925: The fineness mark: Confirms that the silver has a minimum purity of 925 parts per thousand, or 92.5%.The leopard's head: The distinctive symbol of the London Assay Office, where the silver has been independently tested.The date letter: Identifies the year in which the piece was hallmarked, in this case, B for 2026.

Your jewellery will arrive in a presentation box featuring my Marianne Harwood monogram, carefully packaged to protect it during its journey to you.I use FSC-certified paper and cardboard packaging wherever possible, alongside protective inserts to keep each piece secure.Larger pieces, including Cholla cuff bangles, are presented in soft pouches and a box for protection and storage.Whether you're treating yourself or choosing a gift, I hope the packaging makes receiving your jewellery feel just a little special.

The desert landscapes of the American Southwest have long been a source of inspiration for my jewellery, particularly the Cholla collection.The Mojave Desert Land Trust works to protect the California desert through land conservation, habitat restoration and the preservation of native plants and wildlife.This extraordinary landscape is close to my heart, and I support the Trust through a personal monthly donation. I also donate £1 for every piece of Cholla jewellery sold, as a small additional contribution towards protecting this remarkable environment for future generations.
